Tired Girl

Marion, Hannah, Jonathan & I all went to go see Megan & Felix today. We were able to smuggle all four of us into Megan's room at the same time. ICU will only permit 2 in her room at a time. They were pretty busy so we were able to pull it off. We had a nice visit with Megan. We stayed a little long (about two hours). I watched her answer questions and talk, laugh and joke. By the time we left, she was very tired and started to have a hard time finding words. Marion asked her what was in a little bag. She could not remember the name of the type of candy. She had to think about it for a second to remember (Hersheys Kiss). When she gets moved to a room and she can have guests, please keep your conversations light, and your stay short. This will help her to recover all that much faster. Please continue to pray for her. Send this blog to as many people as you know. My goal is to have people all over the world praying for her total healing. Thanks to you all for everything you are doing for the Stork/Martinez family.

What a great update! I'll bet it must be exhausting for her! I'm so glad you posted that amazing smile again! My family and I have been glued to the blog for updates everyday - just wishing we could be there to do something tangible for you all. It's great to see her face and hear the details of your visit! I have been giving the site to all that I've asked to pray & will continue to!!! Love from Lloyds! We miss your family so much!

Megan, your looking better with each picture! I feel for your nurses in deeling with our family!
But we are special and deserve exceptional treatment. Keep answereing those questions, and they'll let you out of there soon.
Take care! Hugs and kisses! Nighty Night!

Megan! Wyatt, out 7-year-old, saw your picture this morning and asked me, Why is she smiling?" I told him because she KNOWS Jesus is taking care of her. Indeed HE is!

Much love to you,

Megan, how wonderful to see you smiling and so beautiful. So glad to get the updates on your progress. Just wanted you to know that you are certainly in our prayers, you and your entire family. God has an aweseome plan in all of this and it's a wonderful opportunity to see His grace & mercy. "May you dwell in the secret place of of the Most High and rest in the Shadow of the Almighty. He will cover you with his feathers and under His wings you will find refuge." (Ps. 91) May your hospital bed feel like a feather bed as you rest in His love! We love you, Vicki & Al Haislup

Hi Megan,
You don't know me, but one of your friends in Sugar Land sent me this blog and I've been keeping up with your recovery. You are amazing and so inspirational! All the best to you and I will keep checking in daily for updates - and you and your family are in my thoughts.
Best,
Terez

Paul,
Your a great father to be so diligent and detailed with this blog. It helps to know what to specifically pray for, when you can visualize what needs to be prayed for.
Keep it up,
Rufus III

I also had an idea, (actually, my mother (Irene) told me about this from someone she knew, I thought it would be great for Megan) of how awesome it would be if everyone would choose their favorite healing scripture, type it up, also type their family's name at the bottom so Megan would know who it was from, print it out, buy what ever style and size of frame they want to put that scripture in and literally cover the entire room Megan will be recovering in at the ranch.
Surround her constantly with the "All Healing Word Of God".

Megan,

This coming Sunday morning while our church will be praying for your complete restoration, we will be projecting the pictures your dad has blogged of you, while playing a very special song "When I speak your name" by Christ For The Nations! If anyone has not heard this song, look it up on youtube.com, you'll be blessed!

Rufus III

"When I Speak Your Name"

Jesus, the most beautiful name of all names
Jesus, the only name that brings healing and strength
When I speak your name, mountains move, chains are loosed
When I speak your name, darkness flees, it has no hold on me

Jesus, the most beautiful name that I know, you're the exalted one
Jesus, you have the power alone, you lift the lonely one, Jesus

Jesus, the wonderful name of all names
Jesus, the only name that bring freedom and hope
When I speak your name, mountains move, chains are loosed
When I speak your name, darkness flees, it has no hold on me

Jesus, the most beautiful name that I know, you're the exalted one
Jesus, you have the power alone, you lift the lonely one
Jesus, the most beautiful name that I know, you're the exalted one
Jesus, you have the power alone, you lift the lonely one

Be exalted!
Be exalted!
Be exalted!
Higher & Higher!
Be exalted!
Be exalted!
Be exalted!
Higher & Higher!

Every song on this live worship CD "Overtaken" by Christ for the Nations is phenomenal! (open my eyes, the more I seek you, etc.)
